My favorite vintage ornaments: Sputnik has landed!

Fresh from the starry future! Sputnik is made of silvery space-age plastic.

Alas, one of the star arms is broken. Sputnik must have launched itself from a tree branch at one time and hit the floor. “Space-age plastic” apparently does not mean “unbreakable.” Darn.
