Now you can see every vintage tablecloth in my hoard
Posted: June 14, 2014 Filed under: Vintage tablecloths, What we collect | Tags: vintage tablecloth, vintage tablecloths 3 CommentsIf you’ve been reading our blog for a while you probably know Luray and I are avid vintage tablecloth collectors. (The Placesettings tab on the menu above shows some of our earlier posts, or try tablecloths in the topics at right.)
We love the colors, the great patterns, and the fun they bring to a tabletop. Even when sleep deprived I can’t feel too grumpy at breakfast when I’m looking at a vintage color party.
At one time I had nearly 300 vintage tablecloths. Over the years I’ve trimmed down my collection and kept my favorites. I still have a pretty big hoard, so I might need to come up with a new definition of “favorite”.

Just think: The real world would be pretty weird in these colors. But vintage tablecloths are pretty awesome.
I’m not sure how many I have left. (I’m afraid to count!) But instead of keeping them all to myself I’ve started sharing detail photos of them on Instagram.
I’m showcasing one a day. At this rate I’ll probably run out of tablecloths before the end of the year. Or . . . I could go on a crazy shopping binge to keep the theme going! (Nah, just kidding. I’m not that crazy.)

The wicker farm animals, plaid, fruit and florals on these vintage tablecloths have nothing in common except their great graphics and colors.
You can see all of these vintage tablecloths and many, many more in my Instagram link in the sidebar. You can follow me there, too.
Why not join up and stop by? I’m looking forward to seeing your #vintagetablecloth collection on Instagram.
We will be over the moon and totally love you if you share us with your friends!
I am soooo jealous!! I can never find even ONE. Thankfully, I have 2 that were my Mom’s.
They ARE really hard to find. I bought most of mine 15 to 20 years ago from a flea market vendor who did house clean outs.
Well, *I* vote that you go on a crazy shopping binge and keep your theme going! 🙂
