I wish this cocktail shaker could talk

Last week I bought a vintage cocktail shaker with an unexpected bonus.

It had a stack of black-and-white photos inside.

photos inside the cocktail shaker

First was a bride without her groom.

Then a couple shots of her in some really short shorts.

Next the clothes come off to reveal a strapless swimsuit…

And the poses get progressively provocative.

She had written on the back of a few photos…

be careful honey!

And apparently loved him a lot.

So why were they hidden in a cocktail shaker for 60+ years?

Oh. My. Goodness. That there’s a soap opera, that is. (Excuse me, I have to go yank my eyebrows down from the ceiling now!)

Wow….now thats a saucy shaker….I think she liked her husbands brother a tad….

  3. Danielle says:

Wow. We all want to know the rest of the story. She couldn’t have him so she married his brother? It’s kinda sad.

  4. I would not have even looked in the shaker…good thing you did!

I’ll be looking in anything with a lid now! It would have been fun to find money but not half as interesting as a 60-year-old secret.

Juicy story – thanks for sharing!
