He loves me, he loves me not . . . . . do daisies always tell the truth?

“I’m half-crazy all for the love of you!
It won’t be a stylish marriage,
for I can’t afford a carriage.
But you’ll look sweet upon the seat
of a bicycle built for two!”

Do you know that old song?  It was new over a century ago! Our parents used to sing it together. Dad would play his guitar and sing the first verse, and Mom would reply with the second verse.

This would’ve been perfect for your Fourth of July picnic!

He says: “Hon, the guys and I will be out in the garage tuning in to the Red Sox game on the radio.”

It’s pretty portable, all right, with that convenient carry handle. And the tough plastic case means it’s survive just about anything.

He says: “Oh, from somewhere. And if we can’t get the Sox game we can always tune in to the police or marine stations.”

What happens next? Tune in to find out!
